FX's Archer renewed for second season
“The show hasn’t drawn big ratings — it’s averaging a little more than 1.2 million viewers per week. But that falls in line with the cable channel’s other recent comedy launch, “The League” (1.3 million average in the fall) and is better than the first season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” which grew in later seasons as more people discovered it.”
Bravo to FX for giving shows that show true potential a chance to grow and thrive, something most big networks haven’t done since NBC gave Seinfeld a second season.
