Wind chimes

I like wind chimes.  Anything that can make music more or less by itself is ok by me.  Wind chimes are awesome on a nice summer day, when a cool breeze lowers the temperature just enough to feel perfectly comfortable, and you hear those melodious tings - literally music to your ears.

However…

When you are walking home in the winter, on a frigid night, and the wind blasts through every layer you have, fabric and flesh, and it’s really late with no cars even on the road, and the only thing you hear is the lone sound of metal on metal that seems to resonate through the whole town…it’s creepy man.  Feels like you’re living a page from a Stephen King novel.

Note to world: Keep your wind chimes indoors from January 1st to at least the first day of spring.
